Hey everyone!

So, our Christmas Bunco party at Laura’s went so well!  She decorated so fabulously!  Here’s some pics~

After we had a round or two of bunco and filled our bellies with delicious food and alcohol, we had our gift exchange!  I have to say there were some pretty cool presents!  Nothing naughty this year.  🙂  I think everyone was excited about their gift.

Of course we played a couple rounds of LCR and the newest members were the winners!  That always seems to happen.  🙂  I won at bunco after a tie roll-off, so I was pretty stoked about that!  Our ante for Bunco was $10 and the gift exchange limit was $15, then $3 each game of LCR, so I was happy to be coming home with some money.

Today is the Bunco Betty Giveaway and I think I’m going to wait until a little later today to pick the winner.  I want to see how many are excited to possibly win the Bunco Buddies Ceramic Ornament.  It’s SO cute and belongs on every bunco player’s Christmas tree.

This past couple of weeks have been pretty hectic for me.  I’m trying to get the Calendars done for the Grandparents, and Costco’s website is pissing me off!  I worked on it last night and almost had perfection, when the damn computer froze!  I hit the “refresh” button and it lost EVERYTHING!!!!  I am almost done with addressing the Christmas cards and hope to get them mailed out today.

Tonight I am going with my mom to the Avon Christmas party.  Should be fun…I get to dress up!  🙂  Then this weekend my Husband and I are going to his company’s Christmas party and staying in a Hotel Downtown…that will be a drunken fun getaway too!  I see vodka in my future…yes, lots of vodka and having a hotel room with NO kids!  🙂
I’ll have to tell you how that goes.  🙂

Have a fabulous day you bunco babes!  Don’t forget to tell your friends about Bunco Game Shop and how freakin awesome we are!

Hugs!

Bunco Betty!

I would love to see your Christmas Bunco Pics!  Feel free to post them to our Facebook page here!

Hey you lovely ladies!  I wonder if there are any guys that come across my blog…maybe I should not always say hello to the ladies…what do you think?

Holy cow! Today I stayed in bed with the handsome stud way too long!  After my shopping last night I felt I was well deserved of a sleep-in Friday morning.  I love it when he is home!

I have done absolutely NO homework with the kids this whole break!  I’m supposed to be making my 2nd grader read everyday but when time off of school is this long, I just really don’t have the energy.  I think I’m a bad mom…maybe just one that is a little too chaotic to actually stop and organize the day for the kids.  I really need to work on that.  You know, when I put everything down on a list things seem to get done and go smoothly.  I need to make a list and stick with it!

I hear a couple of bunco babes are having bunco tonight!  CHEERS!  Happy ROLLING!! I love my followers!

Tomorrow we are going to our first Boise State game on the Blue!  The kiddos are SO happy!  I will be taking some pictures and I’ll post a couple for you to see.  🙂

My Fan of the Week giveaway has been going good!  Let me know if you have some ideas from the website that might be an ideal giveaway item.  I would love some feedback.   Also, don’t forget that I have a 20% coupon you can still use!  All you need to do is put buncobetty in the coupon code at checkout!

I shall share another fab recipe with you for your upcoming bunco party or just any night you want a fab dish to serve.

If you like smoked salmon…you will love this recipe!

My hubby went on a trip to Alaska and brought home lots of Salmon…so we found this to use the left over smoked salmon we had.

Ingredients:

8oz cream cheese (room temperature)

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tablespoon minced fresh dill

1 teaspoon prepared horseradish, drained

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/4 pound (4 ounces) smoked salmon, minced

Directions:

Cream the cheese in an electric mixer until just smooth.  Add the sour cream, lemon juice, dill, horseradish, salt and pepper and mix.  Add the smoked salmon and mix well.  Chill and serve with crackers.

SO yummy!  We made a big batch of this and took it on the boat this summer with some Ritz crackers.  🙂  By the way, I don’t like salmon, but I loved this dip because it’s used with smoked salmon.

Happy Friday everyone!

Hello darlings!

Ok, now it’s time to start thinking about Christmas presents!  I’m the mom who doesn’t have anything yet for my family.  You can see me the week before Christmas frantically searching for gifts for my kids…and then putting wrapping off until Christmas Eve.  Last year I said I would be more organized and completely ready so I better get my ass into gear!  I also have to create the family calendar I make every year for the Grandparents.  That always takes some time too.  Oh well.  Merry, Merry times!!

I got up this morning to do my workout and decided that I had too much wine to be up so early.  Then I curled up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket and fell asleep until the kids woke up.  I’m lazy…but I did get my workout done before noon and I’m hoping to make it to Kickboxing tonight.  🙂

I’m going to be buying some bunco Christmas gifts for people this year…they are super cute and some are on sale!!  YAY!

Now that the kids are getting older, they want more expensive toys!  CRAP!  Then I have to think about what to get my husband…he’s so hard to shop for!  Any ideas?

Our “Like” contest was great!  So excited to give away that cute Bunko Junkie apron…so…Pauline Burnett….if you are reading this…PLEASE email me with your shipping info!! I am going to have to chose another lucky winner in about 2 days if you don’t claim your gift.  EMAIL ME!!  🙂

I have been cold lately, so I wanted to share this warm drink mix I found:

KAHLUA JAVA

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. coffee liqueur
  • coffee
  • hot chocolate

Mixing instructions:

Mix hot chocolate with hot coffee in a mug in equal proportions. Add Kahlua. Option: Top with whipped cream or marshmallows.

I’m off to do whatever the hell I want, since both kids are in school….ahhhhhhh, maybe a cup of Kahlua Java.  🙂

Can’t wait for my bunco night….counting down the days!  Please feel free to email me if you need some awesome ideas for your bunco night!

Kisses!!

Were you a child of the 80s? OK, don’t admit because you don’t want to give away your age. So, do you love to play Sudoku? How about playing Sudoku on a device that used to be popular in the not so distant past? (How was that to not make you feel old?) Sudoku is now available in the form like what a Rubick’s Cube used to be played. Give the Sudoku Key Chains for bunco prizes at your next party!

Each side of this Sudoku key chain puzzle is a different color. It is played like a regular Sudoku game where the numbers 1 – 9 are used one in each line vertically and horizontally, in each square of the block. Sound complicated? It’s not, really. As long as you can count to nine, you can play this fun puzzle game. Plus, think of the exercise it gives your brain to keep it healthy!

This Sudoku Puzzle Cube Key Chain is convenient because you can play it anywhere you find yourself waiting – at school, after football practice, during a scout meeting, during swimming practice or whenever you wait. Even the grocery store checkout line won’t be a big deal when you can keep yourself occupied!

To play, simply twist the cube all around and mix up the colors. Figure out a way to get all of the numbers back where they are supposed to be, without duplicating a number on a side. Make it more challenging and give yourself a time limit!

You can also use the Sudoku Puzzle Cube Key Chain as a bunco prizes favor for everyone and give your guests a break between your bunko night rounds to challenge their skill. Time the gals and see who is the fastest. Make it a race between each table during a break in the rounds. What table wins? What person can be the Sudoku champion AND win all the Bunco prizes?

How about a prize for the “winner” that that looks a little…gangsta! Mix up your themes a little bit and make it a Bling Night when bunco night rolls around next month. The Bunko Trophy Necklace.

The best way to give yourself or the girls some great bling is by buying…a Bunko Trophy Necklace for everything. And here you thought I was going to suggest diamonds…since they are a girl’s best friend you know! Wrong!

The Bunko Trophy Necklace is a fun way to bling out the night with some gold. The strands of the necklace are gold beads which are 32 inches in length. A 2 inch miniature trophy hangs as a medallion would from the strand. You could like a member of the posse or part of the rapper’s groupies with this much gold around your neck!

Of course, with every outrageous trinket, you can make them available to all your gals on bunco night or you can reserve the Trophy Necklace as the booby prize. Would any of your gals wear this willingly? Get it for all of them then if they wouldn’t. Would they all wear it no problem – then only get one and make it the top prize of the night. No matter what you think the gals will do, come up with an opposite plan to make the night more exciting.

The Bunko Trophy Necklace could also be an addition to your decorations for a bunco theme night such as the Breeder’s Cup, The Kentucky Derby, The Stanley Cup or any other event night where a trophy looking like a cup is given out. Be creative. Make it a trophy wife night! You’re all worth trophies on bunco night!
